Fiscal Sponsorship Partnership School-Site Fundraising

 

Redwood City Education Foundation (RCEF) serves as the fiscal sponsor for school-site fundraising for the Redwood City School District, supporting the school and classroom-based projects and initiatives, Districtwide services, and Staff Appreciation.

 

100% of your donation goes directly to the specific department of your choice to enhance services provided to students districtwide. You also have the option to donate for staff appreciation initiatives, events, and activities, as all District funds go directly to students. Private businesses and individuals are always invited to contribute to the recognition of teachers and support staff at schools across RCSD and the District Office to thank them for the job they do every day educating students.

A fiscal sponsorship partnership allows each school to conduct its fundraising under RCEF’s 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. This means that all donated funds are tax-deductible for the donor. This partnership supports projects that are supported through school supply drives, field trips, book drives, school clubs, and other initiatives and projects.

Please note that donations to your PTO are separate. This is intended to support such emerging projects that are not covered under the PTO. Gifts to this fund are solicited by teachers and principals rather than by the PTO or RCEF.
