WHAT WE DO
What We Support
RCEF invests in the learning experiences, student supports, family connections, and educator capacity that help remove barriers and support the success of Redwood City students.

Academic Support & Enrichment
Students benefit from opportunities that challenge them, build confidence, spark curiosity, and provide additional academic support when they need it. RCEF helps expand access to academic and enrichment experiences that may otherwise be out of reach.

We also invest in the time, tools, collaboration, and professional support educators need to strengthen student learning.
Today, this includes: mental health counseling, social-emotional support, essential needs, and support through school-based family centers.
Family & Community Engagement
Families are essential partners in their children’s education. RCEF supports opportunities for parents and caregivers to build knowledge, navigate school systems, develop leadership, and strengthen their connections with schools and one another.
Today, this includes: parent education, family workshops, school engagement activities, and support for family-centered resources.

Flexible Support When Needs Arise
RCEF can provide flexible funding to help schools, families, and partners respond to emerging needs or gaps that might otherwise go unaddressed.
