In Memory of Violet L King

1919–2020

A longtime Redwood City resident and community volunteer, Violet King included RCEF in her estate as part of her wish to benefit children in her community. Her nearly $1 million legacy gift became one of the most significant individual gifts in RCEF’s history.

Her generosity is a lasting example of how one person’s commitment to their community can create opportunities for generations of Redwood City students.
